Alex Pariss is a painter, plastic artist, graphic designer. His influences have been forged thanks to multiple observations which have oriented him for a few years towards Optical and Kinetic Arts. His concepts are unique with a proliferation of shapes and lines mixing them sometimes with a touch of Psychedelic, playing with provocative moves to execute different projects. The geometric frame is almost omnipresent in his creations offering distinct reading levels and singularity. His various mediums confront all spectator sight to abstract or figurative optic illusions forcing the eye to decrypt the shapes and to doubt his perception. The work on values, the moire, the shapes game, and against-shapes mean in situ in despised places. His work on black and white sometimes mottled of bright colors privileges some vibrating shapes with flat and garish sensations. Those "Optic Games" become the result of his interest in the heritage for Design and Graphic Conception that he sublimes in unexpected spots.
